Reboot Overview
“It's a concrete support for everyone. It's accessible to everyone and very easy to implement. Other avenues of support for SEL we wanted to implement would have involved too much training and prior knowledge for a classroom teacher to implement.”
- Superintendent in California
We created Reboot specifically for teachers who have a lot on their plate and may not be familiar with mindfulness or social-emotional learning. With just one click, teachers can access our three-minute mindfulness guides designed to help cultivate essential social-emotional learning skills and mindfulness tools.
The guides are ideal for both teachers and students to listen to together, and they include strategies to recognize and manage emotions, behaviors, and reactions - all of which are essential SEL skills that can help improve overall well-being and create a healthier school environment.
Our guides are available in two levels: Elementary and Middle Level/High School, and we provide specific guides for staff and a newly established program for student-athletes. Plus, the guides are available in both English and Spanish.

Reboot content aligns with the 5 Casel Competencies, plus additional SEL skills and mindfulness tools:
Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, Relationship, and Decision-Making Skills
Tools to manage stress and anxiety
Mindful listening and speaking tools
Tools for building empathy
Tools for attention and focus
Ways to implement: Login every day for the daily 3-minute audio guide. Also, visit our content library throughout the day, depending on particular situations.
School-wide: daily over morning announcements - builds a positive school-wide culture
Per classroom: build Reboot into the daily schedule, setting aside 3 minutes per day to listen together during homeroom, community circles, morning meetings, etc
Teachers can leave it at 3 minutes and move on, or if more time is available, the guides can prompt a more extensive conversation or writing/drawing activity.
Staff mindful moments intended to kick off staff meetings and PD days
Visit the library, as needed throughout the day as a class or one on one with students
Survey Responses from our district partners across the US:
Any noticeable changes in the classroom or school since starting? Behavioral? Academic? Overall school culture?
Kids appear to be more focused and prepared to learn.
I have seen changes just individually with the few students that have more extreme anxiety that they have less starting their day.
I think it has given my students tools to use throughout the day, not just during the exercise but any time they get upset or need calming techniques.
Staff have observed students utilizing the skills on their own. And the VB coaches used it when players needed it. They would tell them, "go Reboot".
It has provided them a resource and strategies for calming.
I feel that it's helped shaped the tenor of class and given me tools to help the kids in times of stress.
Definitely improvements with behavior! Parents are also using some of the tools at home.
This is a tough year to be able to note this. We have had very few behavioral concerns. This could certainly be because of Reboot.
I have received positive feedback from teachers. This school year has been so crazy a little tough to determine changes; however, as I go into classrooms during the playing of Reboot the kids are sitting quietly following the directions.
More strategies to use when stressful situations occur, I have noticed more differences at recess.
They were always amazing young people but are really becoming more mindful for sure as the year progresses.
We look forward to partnering with you and your students to promote mindfulness in your community. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
